On December 4, 2014, the Lord gave me a very vivid prophetic vision.

I found myself sitting inside an apartment on the top floor of a high rise building, looking out a window, observing Manhattan NY. There were two big windows, taking up almost all of the outside wall.

A powerful angel was on my left side, describing everything that was happening and why. At the same time as the angel was speaking, I saw many nuclear bombs falling from the sky. Then time slowed down, so everything was moving in slow motion. My eyes focused on each building like a camera zooming in to take a close-up.

I saw building after building start to disintegrate and explode while collapsing on top the others. The nuclear bombs seemed endless, so much destruction! I saw famous tall buildings, high rises, turning black and red before exploding into pieces and falling into the water.

Ominous clouds and a massive storm came over the city and strong winds spread the destruction. Suddenly, a huge tsunami wave came in and snapped the steel-wire suspension on the Brooklyn bridge, tearing it in pieces. I saw the pieces fall to the water as if the steel wires snapped like twigs!

The tsunami came over the city demolishing what was left. It was total desolation! I was shocked, yet things seemed so “matter of fact – absolute”. I understood everything the angel said, but unfortunately, when I woke up I couldn’t remember what he said.

Interpretation:

In light of all the world events we see unfolding these days, this vision is very powerful and sobering. Part of the Body of Christ realizes the times we’re living in and that we are living in the last days, yet another part of the Body is not awake, nor discerning the times. There was such an urgency from the Lord to publish this vision.

I believe what I saw was a literal catastrophic event coming to New York and perhaps other cities because it was a vision and very absolute as the angel explained it. Dreams are more symbolic, but the tsunami might also illustrate a massive wave of deception, like we have been warned about in Matthew 24.

I believe this vision was also given for us to pray against the destruction. Yet we must know the Lord will protect His people and we must contend for the faith.

We need to get our houses in order and be prepared, not in fear but prepared in our hearts with God, prepared to help others spiritually and physically, preparing our families, and spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
