8-2-2016 Love Letter To Jesus: I DRAW NEAR TO YOU
As the heavens are high above
So great is your mercy towards those who fear you Oh Lord
You are our Sovereign God
Our God who forgives all our iniquities,
Who heals our diseases,
Who redeems our life from destruction,
Who crowns us with loving-kindness and Your tender mercies.
For The Lord will not cast off His people
You are clothed with strength and majesty Oh Lord!
In the multitude of my anxieties, Your comforts delight my soul
How great are your works Oh Lord
And how deep are your thoughts
You are my refuge and my fortress,
My God it is in You I trust
In you I abide, dwelling in the secret place of the Most High
Even from everlasting to everlasting You are God!
My God and the Rock of my salvation… my Abba
Teach me Your ways Oh Lord, that I may walk in your truth
Unite my heart that I may fear Your Name.
Oh prepare us Oh Lord, show us Your Mighty plans
That we may apply our hearts for Your Glory Oh Lord
How lovely is Your tabernacle Oh Lord of Hosts!
My soul longs and even faints for the courts of My Lord
My heart and flesh cry out for the Living God
Oh Lord defend the poor and needy, deliver your people according to Your Word
I cry out to You for justice, for Your justice Oh Lord
I remember The Works of the Most High and your Mighty Wonders
I also meditate on all Your Works and talk of Your deeds Oh Lord
You are The God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among your people
How beautiful You are my Lord
You spoke the world into creation Oh Lord
The waters saw You and were afraid, the depths also trembled
The clouds poured out water, the skies sent out a sound
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind
The lightnings lit up the world
The earth trembled and shook
Your way was in the sea
Your path in the great waters,
And Your footsteps were not known
You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron
Lead us Oh Lord, lead us in Your perfect ways,
That we surrender all to You precious Father
Lead us and take care of us as You did Israel
Prepare our hearts Oh Lord
Make the cares of this world become insignificant to us
Break our hearts for what breaks Yours
Let us see thru Your eyes and feel with Your heart
Let us hear what You hear Oh Lord
Prepare our hearts precious Father
We give thanks to You Oh Lord, we give thanks!
For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near
You hold me by Your righteous right hand
You will guide me with Your counsel
And afterward receive me into Glory Heavenly Father
Whom have I in heaven but You Oh Lord?
And there is none upon the earth I desire besides You my Lord
My flesh and my heart fail
But God is the strength of my heart
And my portion forever
I have put my trust in The Lord, that I may declare all Your works
I draw near to You my God, I draw near to You , I draw near to You my Lord!
